Administrative Film Set Manager

This position provides essential administrative support and set management to facilitate film shoots for Christian video and streaming projects ranging in style from documentaries to narrative script-based videos. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented administrative professional who will enjoy working in both an office environment and various filming locations. From preparation and planning to on-site problem solving, this position plays a key part in every aspect of the filming process. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct routine equipment checks as it is returned, ensuring functionality and completeness.
- Maintain an organized inventory of equipment and props, labeling items for easy identification.
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of studio gear and facilities on a regular basis.
- Assist in the production process by breaking down scripts, coordinating schedules, casting actors, and securing locations.
- Procure props and other necessary items for video shoots, ensuring they align with the creative vision.
- Collaborate with the production team to pitch ideas for main series videos and contribute creative input during shoots.
- Production Assistance:
- Serve as a key support on film sets, responding to the needs of the director, actors, and cinematographer.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during production, offering creative solutions to keep the shoot on track.
- Studio Operations Management:
- Manage the studio's day-to-day operations, including equipment care and maintenance, restocking expendables, and organizing studio spaces.
- Coordinate repairs for damaged equipment and facilitate the replacement process as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of studio and gear rooms to ensure a safe and conducive working environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact between departments to coordinate scheduling and resource availability for video shoots.
- Liaise with higher management to communicate equipment needs, repair issues, and other logistical concerns.
- Collaborate with location managers to ensure smooth coordination for on-site shoots and address any challenges that arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A dynamic and growing relationship with Christ, and enjoy a Jesus-focused way of life.
- Entry-level experience in video production, with a strong understanding of production workflows and processes.
- Proficiency in software such as Cheqroom and Studiobinder, with basic video editing skills considered a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure production environments.
- Passion for storytelling and creativity, with a desire to contribute to meaningful projects within a church community.
